This was a wonderful experience! The car pick-up was easy and the location was on the edge of town so we didn't have to worry about driving in the city too much before being out in the country in Tuscany. This rental provided the amazing opportunity to experience the Tuscan countryside without the crowds and organized tours. The car was so cute and nice to drive!

This was a simple process, the car was great and the people were nice to work with. They got us a taxi to get us to the train station after we returned the car. We will definitely use them again if we choose to drive Tuscany in the future. We really liked our Fiat. It has the right amount of room and performance was better than I expected for a diesel.

Having started our trip with one of the major rental providers, we felt the service received from the team in Firenze was incredibly friendly, informative and most importantly - great cars at fair rates.

We realised shortly into our hire that the car we hired would not be large enough for all of our luggage. The team were very helpful in arranging a larger car for us, and it was all handled incredibly smoothly - allowing us to relax and enjoy our holiday.

If you want to pinch pennies you could probably look elsewhere and find a better rate (and lots of risk and hidden charges), but for total peace of mind and stellar service, Tuscany by Car is highly recommended!!!

We wanted to rent a car for our 2 day stay in Tuscany. All other companies had bad reviews only Tuscany by car had good reviews. And they truly deserved it. Their office is at a walkable distance from Florence railway station. We went and booked a car and we got a brand new Volkswagen SUV. The whole process was transparent, no hidden cost, and quick. When we faced an issue with our credit card, they were ready to assist with the debit card fund. When we returned the car, they were quick to release the blocked funds, and didn't make any unnecessary cost cuts. Thank you once again for your service and helping to make our Tuscany stay memorable.

A unique experience in a very problematic field.
We rented a car for two days to Tuscany, the service, the explanations were precise and clear, and the welcome was pleasant and reassuring. Outstanding service. 5+ stars! From booking to return everything was seamless and professional. I don't rent cars often so during booking I had a lot of questions that I kept sending them about type of car, insurance, child car seat, international driving permit, etc. And I had to change my dates as well. Through all the communication they replied quickly and were very patient and clearly answered my questions. Picking up the car was a breeze. At the garage they were very kind and gave us a map to explain how to get out of the city to avoid the ZTL zone. We were given a beautiful new Fiat Panda Hybrid that was only a month old with 3K km. Returning the car also very easy and the same day the deposit blocked on my credit card was released. Trustworthy company and highly recommended!

Great company - great communication from start to finish. Would rent from them again and definitely recommend! This was our first time renting a car in Italy and we were nervous about it. We had a few emails back and forth with Customer Service and our minds were set at ease. We picked up at a garage outside of the No driving zone and used google maps to help us reach our destination in Montepulciano! Wouldn’t do it any other way if we were to go there again as it’s very complicated with public transit. The car was quick and zippy, had great modern electronics and was pretty straightforward. We were so happy to have the freedom of the rental to go/see what we wanted. The people at the pick up garage went over the car with us (we also took pics and video) and the return was quick and easy. A big Canadian Thank you to Laura in Customer Service for answering all our questions and to Tuscany By Car!!
