Guy rented me a jeep renegade with a bald tire and no spare in the back and didn't seem to care. Also did NOT return my $200.00 deposit. Showed him proof of my bank statement and he insisted that the money was returned. He rented the same vehicle to my sister and told her to pick the keys up in the "glove box", she went to pick the jeep up and the keys were NOT in the "glove box", the guy is a bad businessman, careless to say the least. I would not rent a vehicle from him; complete fraud!

I was stranded in Alamosa CO after my work vehicles' power steering went out. Mind you, I had just completed a 4 hour drive on windy mountain roads coming from Golden CO. Therefore, I was frustrated and anxious to say the least after feeling like I dodged what could have been a tragic accident. Nevertheless, I found Alamosa Car Rentals and walked into Paul's office without knocking (rude, I know). However, I was greeted by Paul and he welcomed me with a positive attitude and the motivation to get me back to Golden. Thankfully Paul had a vehicle for me, and he accepted my works' payment over the phone saving me from having to go through a reimbursement. Additionally, Paul drove me to the vehicle and provided me with instructions regarding the vehicle's features. Overall, due to Paul's exceptional customer service, business mindset, and the ability to maintain vehicles in mint condition, I returned to Golden safely. I highly recommended anyone that is in the area to utilize Alamosa Car Rentals.- Vee

Rented a van here. The online process would not work. We had to call in and ask to reserve the vehicle. They were polite and willing to accommodate us. When I arrived the system still would not accept our payment. The gentleman was very nice and still got us all setup with the vehicle and said someone would fix the payment later. During our check in it was obvious that this gentle was not very computer savvy but he did make up for it with his kindness and still accommodating us. So when we got in the car it didn’t have a full tank of gas, which was unusual but I assumed it was noted. We had no registration or paper work, the license plates where almost a year expired and lights on the dash kept notifying us. After calling and explaining this to the owner or manager not sure who he was, he assured us we were ok. When we turned in the vehicle we left more gas than we were given. Later we received a new invoice for a gas charge and another charge. After we assured we wouldn’t be charged that fee. My husband called to clarify the new charges and the gentleman asked for his name and my husband gave to him, which my bother was listed as a driver and was originally listed as the renter. The gentleman struggled to pull up the information which was no surprise. Finally my husband gives the other drivers name and the gentleman scolds my husband for not giving the proper name. The conversation was pretty heated. After the gentle having his manager or owner reviewing the bill he calls back and ensures me that the bill will reflect the original invoice. Then says his boss is going to send us $100 gift card for all our trouble. Not surprisingly we never received the gift card lol. So we got the basics we got our vehicle even with all the kinks in the system but it was not easy and stress free. Maybe we were the rare exception but from our experience I would assume things are run smoothly with a worker that doesn’t know technology and looks overwhelmed and a manager that is never available or keeps his word.

Great experience renting for the first time in Alamosa. Convenient location, staff is knowledgeable about touristic locations, spots and routes. The car was in excellent condition. Excellent service. Will recommend, and use again.

I have been renting from these guys for a year now. I travel in and out of state and sometimes, sooner than expected. These guys always have my back and find a solution whether needed in short notice, or in advance. They have a great fleet of spacious, gas friendly cars/suvs, perfect for the mountains or the road. Great prices and even better customer service. Evan and Paul always make sure I have a great experience! Thank you Alamosa Rental and I will see you again, soon!

This is not a legitimate company, tread with caution when engaging with them. I had a rental from them for two months while my car was in the shop, and they called me weekly asking for repair updates, which I found wildly inappropriate. They continued this throughout the entire time I had the vehicle, despite multiple requests for them to stop.

After the car was returned, they provided an illegitimate invoice to my car dealership (incorrect sum, incorrect vehicle, no company letterhead). After my dealership contested the invoice, they threatened to charge me directly. Even the service administrator at my dealership called them "laughably incompetent".

Every communication with their team, and particularly Evan, have been entirely unprofessional.

The host is amazing and prompt. I prefer to rent through Alamosa Car Rentals because of how easy the process is. I haven't had an issue yet. The cars have been clean, and communication is great! I would strongly recommend!!

Best car rental experience! They took very good care of me- even brought car to airport for me b/c I was in a bind. Would definately rent here again!!!
