Avevo chiamato per prenotare una macchina ma non mi avevano convinto, siamo arrivati ed abbiamo trovato una punto cabriolet che aveva forse 20 anni e sembrava uscita da uno sfasciacarrozze! sonsigliatissimo, personale oltremodo scortese, fortunatamente ci siamo rivolti ad altri e abbiamo salvato la vacanza !

Kein Service vorhanden! Wir haben telefonisch eine Uhrzeit vereinbart und dass wir zwei Roller mieten wollen. Allerdings war der Vermieter zu der Uhrzeit nicht da. Wir haben mehrmals mit dem Vermieter telefonisch Kontakt aufgenommen, er hat uns immer wieder vertröstet. Nach mehr als einer Stunde warten, haben wir es wieder telefonisch probiert. Der Vermieter ging nicht mehr ans Telefon und rief auch nicht zurück. Wir sind dann gegangen und haben nichts gemietet.

STAY CLEAR!
This is by far the worst rental experience I ever had. On our honeymoon, my wife and I arrived Portoferraio in the morning to pick up our Vespa that we had ordered and prepaid. They tried to deliver us a common scooter but we said that we wanted the Vespa we had ordered, since we after all had paid a fair amount of money to get exactly a Vespa. They said that if we could wait until 1630, they would get a vespa in their office in Marina Di Campo where we where going to stay. We agreed to that and took a taxi to our hotel. We went to their office as agreed but there was no vespa. They said they would get it in about 1 hour. When we came back they still didn't had the Vespa. This went on till about 1830. Then they came with an old, not in good shape "star" scooter. A replica wannabe Vespa. We said that this was not what we had paid for and that we wanted our money back. Then they suddenly didn't understand English, all though we had communicated perfectly well until that point. I finally managed to get the phone number to the owner, but he didn't either speak English. At last I talked to a lady that understood English and she promised that someone would come with our money in 5 minutes. We waited for 20 minutes and nobody came. We tried to call back, but nobody answered. Im sure you can understand our frustrations. To make a long story short. After arguing with the rental workers that pretended they didn't understand us for about 2 hours more, we had too pay 80 euros for "taxes" before we got the rest of our money back. It's my first bad review on Internet, but the whole day went to this and they totally ruined our first day at Elba and I hope they don't get to ruin enybody elses. My advice is STAY CLEAR OF ELBA RENT !!!!

The bikes are terrible quality, old and rusty. My city bike's gears were very bad, I could not change into top gear, and the chain jumped when I tried to change to the lowest gear. They tried to say it was my fault and without the help of two nice locals I'm sure they would have refused a free exchange.

STOP STOP nur bei der Übergabe freundlich, bei Rückgabe keiner da, nach Anruf unfreundlich und keine Unterschrift für die Rückgabe bekommen. Auch der Mietvertrag wird nicht ausgefüllt?!?
